Flow Systems has engineered several fully automated “standard” turbine component flow benches, including hardware and software, that are fully customizable for each application or customer.  The Low, High and Mini Flow Configuration Systems currently comply with the in-house testing procedures of ABB/Alstom Power, ABB Gas Turbines, Pratt & Whitney America, Pratt & Whitney Canada, General Electric Aircraft Engines, General Electric Power Systems, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Allison Engine, Rolls-Royce, Solar Turbines, Siemens, Siemens Westinghouse, Snecma and others.

TURBINE ENGINE LIQUID FUEL NOZZLE 
TEST SYSTEM

 Aerospace OEMs and their suppliers require quality liquid flow measurements of fuel nozzles in both aircraft and land-based turbine engine components.  This Test Stand is a Liquid Flow Metering System that utilizes a Coriolis flow meter to measure the liquid flow through each Unit Under Test (UUT).  The System Controller Software contains Procedures for Performing the Following Functions: Part Master Routine, System Accuracy Test (Audit Test), Test Scheduler, and System Maintenance.

PORTABLE AIR FLOW TEST SYSTEM -  
Model FC200-PATS
 

The FC200-PATS is an Air Flow Metering System that employs one manually interchangeable Sonic Nozzle (Critical Flow Venturi) to meter the air flow through each Unit Under Test (UUT).  The System Controller Software sets the proper pressure at the inlet of the UUT, and calculates the mass flow through the sonic nozzle.  Nozzles range in size from 0.016 to 0.500” throat diameter.

The FC500 can interface with single Sonic Nozzle Meter Runs and sub-sonic Venturis. It also accommodates combinations of Sonic Nozzles configured in a Multiple Sonic Nozzle Array.
